| The Freehold Art Society presents Process Painting, a workshop by Wild and Free Painting Join us for An Introduction to Process Painting and Five Things You Must Know to Reclaim Your Creative Life. No experience necessary, open to the public, free, supplies provided, friendly atmosphere, adults only, snacks! Time: Wednesday, March 25, 2-3:30 pm Place: VFW Post 4374 50 Waterworks Road, Freehold (Between Pond and Throckmorton, next to the prison, turn on Old Englishtown Road & bear right) Process Painting is making the experience of painting more important than the outcome. The goal of process painting is the creative act itself without pressure to perform, produce or succeed. Process painting creates a space of not knowing and celebrates being led by our intuition rather than a controlled plan. You know that person that has been buried under the inner critic, the expectations, the stress, the to do list, the schedules, the needs of the others, the control, the anxiety, the sadness, the loss, the fear? This process helps support her journey, however it may show up.
