Our General Meeting on Tuesday, Sept 30 was enjoyed by all. Thanks to our talented instructor Nancy Pitcher!

Back by popular demand, artist Nancy Pitcher will lead a participatory demonstration of Watercolor painting, with a landscape.

The meeting begins at 6:30 pm on Tuesday September 30. Materials will be provided or bring your own. Open to the public. Bring a friend! No experience necessary. Thanks to the Freehold Elks Lodge for hosting us. The address is 73 East Main Street, Freehold NJ 07728.

We will be participating in the Freehold Arts Council’s 12th Annual Arts and Craft Show. The show is held at Park Ave School, 280 Park Ave., Freehold and is usually well attended.

This Holiday show best suited to small works (up to 11×14) and crafts for gifts. Please mark a price on your pieces. The show is open to the public from 11-4. We can receive your pieces from 10-11 am, and pick up is 3:30-4pm. The Art Society covers the cost of the show.

We need volunteers for the following shifts: 10-12, 12-2 and 2-4. Please email if you can table sit for a few hours with other FAS members.

Pick up and receiving for our members only Art Show at The Carnegie Library in Freehold Boro is Monday 9/8, 7-8:30 pm and Tuesday, 9/9, 9:30-11 am

(Note: Tuesday 9/9 is also Receiving at the Freehold Art Gallery if you have arranged with Jill to participate in the Gallery’s show.)
